Laser machining system has high affinity with digital control. Therefore the laser for machining is thought to be one of the most important tools at the site of future manufacturing, but the current laser for machining is not sufficiently efficient in terms of power consumption and machining accuracy etc. In order to solve these problems, we study a new semiconductor laser for processing using VCSEL.
