[6p-C18-5] Study on topological materials by ultra-high-resolution spin- and angle-resolved photoemission

Keywords:Spin-resolved photoemission, Topological materials

Efficiency of spin-polarized photoelectron spectroscopy has been improved drastically by the development of the spin polarimeter. More recently, thanks to the vacuum ultraviolet laser becoming available as a light source, the spin texture becomes clearer in the study of topological nature of the materials and Rashba effect at the surface. Furthermore, the polarization of the laser enables us to demonstrate the spin-orbital entanglement of the strongly spin-orbit coupled systems.
