[6p-PA3-14] Multipole Localized Plasmon Resonance Property of a Semi-Shell Structure

A core / shell structure composed of dielectric core-nanoparticle and metal thin film cover shows optical characteristics different from those of a single metal nanostructure. In particular, a semi-shell structure in which the core-particle surface is partially covered with a metal thin film has an attractive property such as optical anisotropy. In this study, we investigated multi-pole type localized plasmon resonance of semi-shell (dielectric core / gold shell) structure by optical simulation using discrete dipole approximation (DDA) method.
