[6p-S22-2] Application of Plasma Technique to Agriculture Up to Today and in the Future

Influence of high voltage and plasma on animals and plants has been experientially known since ancient times. Studies of plasma technology for agricultural use such as plant growth exposed by high voltage electric field have been conducted from middle of 18th century. In this presentation, outline of agricultural technique, previous research of plasma technology for agricultural use and future development will be focused. In addition, some problems of the application of plasma technique to agriculture will be introduced.
