[6p-S42-1] Effect of nanoprecipitate size on the flux pinning of YBCO thin films (1)—experimental results

Keywords:YBCO thin films, flux pinning, nanoprecipitates

We have been investigating flux-pinning mechanisms of YBCO thin films. We found that the difference in nanoprecipitate size causes different angular-dependent critical current densities Jc. In this study, we have investigated the temperature dependence of Jc at moderate magnetic fields B = 0.5–2 T (//c) in four YBCO thin films containing high density of nanoprecipitates with different sizes, and found that the change of Jc(T) is more remarkable for the thin film with smaller nanoparticles.
