[6p-S44-2] Synthesis of Mn2+ doped ZnSe quantum dots using core/shell structures

ZnSe nanoparticles doped with transition metal ions of Mn show orange emission (Mn emission) due to the d-d transition in Mn ions. In this study, we prepared ZnSe/ZnS:Mn/ZnS core/shell/shell nanoparticles by the hydrothermal method. In these nanoparticles, the photoluminescence quantum efficiency of Mn emission is increased up to 80%.
