2D van der Waals heterostructures composed of Group-VI transition metal dichalcogenides such as WS2 and MoS2, offer a novel platform for optical physics arising from interlayer excitons. In this work, we have focused on the assignment of PL emission from interlayer excitons by using hBN-sandwiched high-quality WS2/MoS2 van der Waals heterostructures fabricated by combination of CVD and dry-transfer method.
