We performed single-molecule tunnel-current measurements for modified nucleobase solutions and a blank solution with nano-gap electrodes, and machine-learning for each of the conductance-time profiles. By the machine-learning, we found the characteristic noise signals in the profiles and then are removed from the profiles and evaluate the discrimination ability of these nucleotide. We found that, by using the conductance-time signals, the discrimination ability of the modified base species is significantly improved, relative to the conventional discrimination based on the histogram of the electric conductivity.
