[7a-C14-3] High resolution optical fiber temperature sensor based on cross-correlation measurements

We are conducting research on a high resolution temperature sensor based on the technology to precisely measure optical length of optical fiber. In the previous experimental system, there was a problem that all the optical fibers included in the system operate as temperature sensors. In this study, a cross-correlation measurement system was constructed and the temperature sensor part was separated from other optical fibers. In addition, a reflection mirror is provided at the end of the sensor section, and the optical length of the sensor section is equivalently lengthened, with the aim of achieving a temperature resolution of 10-5°C.
