[7a-PA2-5] Laser-Induced Transportation of Micro Solid Particle in Solution Accompanied by the Generation of Density Wave

We will report our observation on the occurrence of directional transportation in an aqueous solution induced by visible laser. In the experiment, graphite particles dispersed in ethanol solution were used. We adapt a green laser (200mW, 532nm) to the aqueous solution containing ethanol with different concentration. We found translational motion of graphite particle in generated along the optical path. Such characteristics motion of the particles will be discussed in relation to the heating effect by laser.
