High solar reflectance coatings are commercially used to reduce urban heat island effect. Solar absorption in winter-season is also needed to obtain more energy efficiencies. Metal periodic microstructures were calculated by RCWA method. As a result, angular selective reflection microstructure that behaves reflective surface against summer solar irradiation, and absorptive to winter solar irradiation was obtained.
