Most of the metal/polymer nanocomposite films utilize polymers derived from oil. In this work, aiming at the fabrication of enviroment-friendly nanocomposite films, we demonstrate the very rapid in-situ synthesis of methylcellulose-silver nanocomposite films by irradiationg CO2 laser.
