[7p-A409-8] Luminescence of ZnO excited by single intense picosecond terahertz pulse

An anomalous luminescence under the irradiation of the THz free electron laser (THz-FEL) pulses is observed[1]. Controlling the reflectivity of the semiconductor mirror by the synchronized Ti:sapphire laser, single micropulses were extracted. We measured the luminescence of the ZnO excited with the single THz-FEL micropulses by a single-scan streak camera.
