△ [7p-A412-6] Electronic Structure of polymeric carbon nitride thin film
Keywords:carbon nitride, organic semiconductor, photocatalyst
We investigated the electronic structure of polymeric carbon nitride, melon, employing photoelectron spectroscopy. The polymer is applicable to photocatalyst for water splitting and electroluminescence diode. By analyzing the electronic structure of melem, which is the repeating unit of melon, we found that contributions from –NH2 and C-NH-C are distinguishable from the XPS. Besides, ultraviolet and inverse photoemission spectroscopy reveal that the HOMO and LUMO of melon is higher and lower than potentials for H+reduction and oxidation of water, respectively. In the presentation, we will also refer to band structure of melon and discuss fundamental electronic properties.
