Keywords:Layered material, Diluted Magnetic Semiconductor

Here we address the properties of the diluted magnetic semiconductor InSeMn. InSe is a layered van der Waals material, and has attracted interest for its potential in future devices. Doping InSe with Mn makes it ferromagnetic. We measure the magnetoresistance of 2D InMnSe at both room temperature and low temperature in order to understand the mechanism of its ferromagnetism and to explore its applications as a spintronics material.
