Non-equilibrium atmospheric-pressure plasma (APP) has recently emerged as a novel tool in medicine. We previously reported that drug transfer into cells can be enhanced by APP irradiation. On the other hand, what types of plasma-induced stimuli trigger the change of the drug permeation remains unclear and the identification is one of crucial themes in plasma medicine. The presentation will contain the investigation of plasma-produced reactive species in the liquid phase and the effect on drug transfer using indirect plasma irradiation.
