[7p-PA5-8] Ozone Concentration Effect on Sterilization of Fruit Surface Irradiated by Atmospheric Air Plasma

Recently, plasma sterilization method has attracted attention as an agricultural sterilization method without pesticide. There is a CT value represented by the product of ozone concentration and irradiation time of ozone as the main parameter in atmospheric air plasma sterilization. In this study, ozone concentration dependence of agricultural product sterilizing effect when sticking to strawberries as constant CT value was verified. Experimental results confirmed the ozone concentration dependency of agricultural product sterilizing effect. It also suggested versatility of sterilization by ozone and UV light.
