[7p-PA7-23] High efficiency silicon hybrid solar cells via energy management by employing nanocrystalline Si quantum dots and Si nanoholes

By employing nanocrystalline Si quantum dots (nc-Si QDs) and modified silicon nanoholes (m-SiNH), we have achieved 13.73% efficiency in Si/PEDDOT:PSS hybrid solar cells. The efficiency enhancement is based on the energy transfer phenomenon of nc-Si QDs to make an effective exciton collection efficiency in the m-SiNH/PEDOT:PSS region for excellent carrier separation.
