[7p-PA8-19] Research on application of diamond semiconductor to radiation dosimeter for space radiation

One of the major problems in space activities is radiation exposure to space radiation. JAXA has examined ways to improve the current radiation management method. As accuracy of the calculation method increases, an accurate LET measuring device is required. We research on the application of diamond to the dosimeter which is close to the atomic number of the human body. Since a crystal with a high charge collection rate is required, a sensor was prototyped in collaborative research with Hokkaido University and an irradiation test was carried out. In this presentation, we report the operation result of the prototype sensor.
