歪Si，Geは高速RFデバイスやヘテロ構造のデバイス等に使われているが，これらのデバイス設計に必要なSi, Geの価電子ハンド変形ポテンシャルは50年程前にJ. C. Hensel，長谷川，鈴木，藤安等がHe温度のサイクロトロン共鳴実験による値が未だに使われている部分があり問題が多い。本講では室温のピエゾ抵抗係数から求めた変形ポテンシャルと低温の変形ポテンシャルを比較し，議論する。
