[7p-PB7-19] Interlayer Exchange Coupling in Fe/MgO/ MFe₂O₄ Tri-layer System

Interlayer exchange coupling is a conventional phenomenon among the magnetic multilayer systems. In particular, antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling through an insulating MgO layer is frequently observed. We investigated how the MgO layer thickness changes the MH loops of Fe/MgO/(Co,Fe)₃O₄ tri-layer system grown by a reactive RF magnetoron sputtering method. The results suggest an existence of interlayer exchange coupling between Fe and (Co,Fe)₃O₄ layers through MgO.
