[7p-PB7-19] Interlayer Exchange Coupling in Fe/MgO/ MFe2O4 Tri-layer System

Interlayer exchange coupling is a conventional phenomenon among the magnetic multilayer systems. In particular, antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling through an insulating MgO layer is frequently observed. We investigated how the MgO layer thickness changes the MH loops of Fe/MgO/(Co,Fe)3O4 tri-layer system grown by a reactive RF magnetoron sputtering method. The results suggest an existence of interlayer exchange coupling between Fe and (Co,Fe)3O4 layers through MgO.
