[7p-PB7-21] A theoretical study on spin-filter effects of the MTJ with ferromagnetic insulator

本研究ではNM/FI/NM形式のスピンフィルターデバイスに着目する。NM/FI/NM型のスピンフィルターデバイスについて、FIにCoFe₂O₄を用いて作成した実験が既に行われている[1]。この実験においてスピンフィルター効率が10Kで-30.5%、室温で-3.4%という結果が報告されている。そこで本研究では、CoFe₂O₄のスピンフィルターとしての有用性を確かめ、より高い性能を示すNM層の組み合わせを探るためにNM/FI/NMの積層構造に関して第一原理計算を行った。
