[7p-S44-18] Extraction of Depth Information by Airy Beam in Laser Scanning Microscopy

We develop a novel method in laser scanning microscopy that will enable fast acquisition of a three-dimensional image without stacking of multiple two-dimensional images by controlling the spatial distributions of phase and amplitude of an excitation beam and fluorescent signals. In this talk, we present the principle of our method and the proof-of-concept demonstration. The prospect of acquisition of three-dimensional images is also discussed.
