[8a-A202-10] Fabrication of FeOOH/FeS2 Heterojunction by Electrochemical Deposition and Sulfur Annealing

Sayaka Maki1, Masaya Ichimura1 (1.NITech)

Keywords:solar cell, heterojunction, Pyrite

Pyrite(FeS2) is a semiconductor that has a band gap of 0.95 eV and large absorption coefficients. Moreover, both constituent elements are abundant and nontoxic. Therefore, pyrite has been attracting attention as a promising solar cell material. The electrochemical deposition(ECD) method is a low-cost technique for fabricating thin films, because the apparatus is simple, without any vacuum or high-temperature system. We fabricate γ-FeOOH(n-type)/FeS2(p-type) heterojunction by ECD and sulfur annealing.Weak rectification and photo responsivity were observed.
