[8a-A405-12] Experimental observation of phase singularities appeared in moire type meta-surface

We have proposed moire type metasurfaces as a novel design way to control the amplitude, phase, and polarization in an electromagnetic wave. Moire type metasurfaces consists of the superposition of two layers of periodic artificial structures. The minor deviation between the period of the structure makes moire pattern. At a previous JSAP meeting, we have reported the phase singularities shown in the electromagnetic fields through a moire type metasurface revealing via a numerical method. At this time, we will report the actual fabrication of the moire type metasurfaces operating in the sub-THz region and its experimental results on observation of phase singularities. We consider the topological feature in a moire pattern is transferred on to a electromagnetic fields.
