[8a-A405-5] Terahertz high sensitivity detection technology using interferometry

Injection-seeded Terahertz Parametric Generator (is-TPG) generates high output power THz waves. However, the detection sensitivity of an is-TPG THz measurement system is degraded by unnecessary light which overlaps with the detection light. To solve the issue, we utilized interferometry for the is-TPG THz measurement system to improve sensitivity. As a measurement result, the detection sensitivity became 10dB higher than the conventional method.
