[8a-A503-6] Study on thin elastic modeling of corneocyte cell

The corneocyte is a kind of skin cell and the outermost layer of humans. The healthy skin is essential for the quality of life (QOL). In this study, we proposed the thin elastic body model for the estimation of the Young's modulus. We experimentally estimated the Young’s modulus by fitting the force-distance curves of a corneocyte on a gel sheet. The Young's modulus of the gel and the corneocyte were 2.3 and 1.1 MPa, respectively.
