[8a-C16-3] Investigation of reduction process of graphene oxide by In-situ electrical conductivity measurement Ⅱ
Keywords:graphene, methane, graphene oxide
Although we succeeded in reduction and restoration of graphene oxide (GO) at low temperature in methane atmosphere, the mechanism was unknown. To elucidate the mechanism, we conducted experiments under the same conditions by using an infrared heater instead of the tungsten (W) heater. As a result, reduction of GO didn't proceed with the infrared heater, which indicates methane molecules pyrolyzed by the W heater are crucial for the low temperature reduction.
