It is expected that low-cost organic thin film transistors (OTFT) can be fabricated with solution processes. We have been investigating OTFTs using thin films of benzodithiophene-dimer (BDT-dimer) derivatives, which have excellent in-air stability and high carrier mobility. In this study, we fabricated OTFTs based on flow-coated thin films of BDT-dimers modified with butyl groups. The maximum carrier mobility of 1.6 cm2V-1 s -1 was obtained.
