[8a-S21-2] Superlinear Effect of Plasmonic Metasurfaces Fabricated on Quantum-Dot-Grown Substrates

Among plasmon-enhancement effects, luminescence enhancement has prominent successful reports so far. We experimentally studied photoluminescence (PL) extracted from quantum dots in a semiconductor. Our experimental results indicate that the PL intensity exhibits a superlinear response even under weak excitation, strongly suggesting that the plasmon-semiconductor coupled system forms a nonolinear system.
