In order to establish a new non-destructive metal corrosion inspection and monitoring technique for invisible steel sheets covered by insulator/ coating film, terahertz (THz) spectroscopic measurements and imaging are expected to be applied. This study shows THz spectra of corrosion products including Fe-based corrosion with discussion about assignment of absorption peaks.
