Breath analysis is focused on as an effective method to diagnose cancer. To diagnose with breath and usual gas chromatography, performance of preconcentrator is the most important issue. Since high performed preconcentrator can capture trace level biomarkers contained in the breath, early diagnosis can be achieved. Here, we propose a new cancer diagnosis method for dogs using a micropreconcentrator based on Si micromachining.
