▲ [14a-311-5] In situ absorption spectra of free base phthalocyanine thin films obtained with the nonlinear photocurrent spectroscopy technique.
Keywords:photoconductivity, absorption spectra, organic thin film
A novel analytical method for obtaining the absorption spectra from the nonlinear response function of the photocurrent is introduced. The incident radiation does not need to be adjusted for constant photocurrent, so signal-to-noise is maximized and the experimental apparatus are greatly streamlined. The sensitivity is sufficiently high to cleanly observe the gap region of a 1 nm thick free base phthalocyanine (H2Pc) film.
