We examined the deposition of metal organic frameworks(MOFs) nanofilms on spin coated films of polymers. The deposition of HKUST-1 nanofilms was confirmed by the characteristic peak appearance in FT-IR spectra. The amount of HKUST-1 adsorption depended on the polymer type. From X-ray diffraction, different crystallographic faces of HKUST-1 nanofilms were observed by varying the polymer type. HKUST-1 crystals were not grown on PS film. HKUST-1 was grown in the (111) crystallographic direction when deposited on the PMMA film and quite small crystals were grown in the case of the HKUST-1 deposition on the PVA film.
