[14a-513-8] Ceramic-particle-orientation behavior in concentrated slurry for UV reaction under strong magnetic field
Keywords:crystal orientation, magnetic field
Duration time for orientation before the ultraviolet irradiation in a strong magnetic field is examined for optimization of time. Materials used in this study is strontium calcium niobate powders with tungsten bronze crystalline system. Correlation was obtained between solid content in a slurry and viscosity of slurry. Solid content with 45 vol% was approximately ten seconds, and it became more than 60 seconds with the slurry of 50vol%, and orientation time got longer with concentration. In addition, for the temperature dependence, when the temperature increase, the viscosity decreased, and the time for orientation was shorten.
