[14a-E204-1] Study of Carbon Dioxide 3D-CT Angiography by use of Energy-resolved CT

Kento Konishi1, 〇Ikuo Kanno1 (1.Kyoto Univ.)

Keywords:computed tomography, energy-resolved, carbon dioxide contrast agent

Iodine contrast agent, which is employed in computed tomography (CT), has side effect. If carbon dioxide can be employed as a side effect free contrast agent, CT can be used in annual health check. As a result, early detection of cancer will be more probable. In this study, contrast increase with the usage of carbon dioxide is confirmed by calculation.
