In this study, we explain Transmission/Electric field enhancement spectra of metal grating using bound mode analysis. The feature of the device we consider is as follows ; grating on semiconductor substrate(assymetric structure) and the thin grating, which we assumed for device applications. As a result of analysis, we found that the peak of Transmission/Enhancement peak mainly came from bound mode. This study could be the used for determining the optimal device structure.
