Electrical-mechanical coupling between cardiac cells in the heart has received considerable attention in order to regulate the heartbeat. However, direct mechanical stimuli on beating cardiac aggregates in a dish has not been applied to observe its effects. We present stabilized cardiac beat activity in 24 h by a stimulus after abnormal beat sequence, likely related to arrhythmia.
