[14p-302-12] Analysis of Molecular Orientation in Organic Semiconducting Amorphous Film Using Dynamic Nuclear Polarization Enhanced Solid-State NMR
Keywords:Organic semiconductor, Solid-state NMR, Analysis of Molecular Orientation
We show the first application of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP)- enhanced static solid-state NMR to an organic semiconducting molecule. We analyzed the orientation of phenyl-dipyrenylphosphine oxide (POPy2) film sublimed or drop-casted on the glass sheets. The 1H-31P CP DNP-NMR spectra showed a clear chemical shift anisotropy broadening line pattern, which indicates the perpendicular orientation of P=O axis against the glass sheet for sublimed POPy2 and random orientation of P=O axis for drop-casted POPy2.
