In order to clarify the influence of the Ni electrode on the electronic state of carbazole oligomer single molecule junction which shows rectification by orbital deformation caused by an external electric field, we evaluate the energy difference (ΔE) between the molecular orbital responsible for charge transport and the Fermi level withTransition voltage spectroscopy (TVS). As a result of comparing the measurements of the gold electrode and the Ni electrode, it was found that the molecular electron state changed greatly due to the influence of the Ni electrode, because the voltage rising current of the Ni electrode is smaller.
