The objective of this study, in terms of thin metal wire electric discharge shock crush method, to control the cracking surface for destroying the concrete structure.
We device the cartridge with wedge-shaped cavity and it is embedded in the mortar test piece.
From the experimental results, the shock wave generated by thin metal wire electric discharge is concentrating in the wedge-shaped cavity and the cracks are developing along the wedge then the cracking surface can be controlled in the test pieces.
