[14p-413-1] Optical Manipulation by Resonant Nonlinear Optical Response

Recent interest in the optical manipulation is focused on the development of an efficient scheme to manipulate nanoscale materials. Using light resonant with the electronic transitions of nanomaterials is an efficient scheme. In this case, the nonlinear optical effect cannot be neglected. In the present talk, we propose that the nonlinear effects in the resonant optical manipulation greatly enhance the degrees of freedom to manipulate nanomaterials.
