Keywords:laser ablation

Thermoelectric conversion devices are attracting attention as one of techniques for solving environmental and energy problems.Bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3) is attracting attention because it shows high thermoelectric performance in the temperature range from room temperature to 200 ° C, and its nanostructure can be enhanced the thermoelectric performance. In this study, liquid phase laser ablation is introduced to make Bi2Te3 nanoparticles. The nanoparticles and spherical microparticles were obtained after laser ablation of Bi2Te3 dispersed in ethanol.
