Si ingots for solar cells are mainly prepared by the cast method (multicrystals) and the Czochralski method (single crystals). In this talk, we will talk about the growth of Si multi- and single ingots for solar cells developed using the cast furnace by the dendritic cast method and the noncontact crucible method.
