[14p-F203-7] IEA HTS Roadmap and Development Status of Superconducting Electric Power Equipment in Japan

Hiroyuki Ohsaki1 (1.Univ. of Tokyo)

Keywords:superconductivity, roadmap, electric power equipment

The outline of “High Temperature Superconductivity: A Roadmap for the Electric Power Sector,” which is an outcome of the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme on High-Temperature Superconductivity (HTS TCP), is presented. In addition, the development status of superconducting electric power equipment in Japan is overviewed by introducing the NEDO Project for Promoting the Practical Application of HTS Technology, the JST S-Innovation and ALCA programmes, etc.
