[14p-P10-59] Huge magnetic-moment variation at CoFe3N/BaTiO3 interfaces induced by electric-polarization reversal

We design the inverse-perovskite-type transition-metal nitride and ferroelectric perovskite interface with huge magnetoelecric effect. We performed first-principles calculation for the Fe4N/BaTiO3/Fe4N and CoFe3N/BaTiO3/CoFe3N heterostructure. We found that the huge variation of the magnetization at the interface by the change of electric polarization direction. This huge magnetielectric effect is caused by the Fe atom at the interface sub-layer.
