[14p-P9-10] UV Absorption Spectroscopy for Ozonated Water and Dissolved Oxygen

UV absorption spectroscopy has been carried out for ozonated water and dissolved oxygen. To obtain the reference spectra for dissolved oxygen, the dissolved oxygen was purged out from deionized water by He or nitrogen gas flow. It was found that the purging effect for oxygen depended on the kinds of purging gas. It has been confirmed from the experiments that the ozone concentration was saturated in a few minutes during ozone bubbling, that the ozone concentration decayed with time constant about 30 minutes, and that the saturated concentration increased with decreasing the oxygen gas flow rate.
