[14p-P9-12] Numerical Analysis of Reaction Mechanism between Discharge Active Species and Membrane Constituent Molecules in Water Using Molecular dynamics

Keywords:molecular dynamics, plasma medicine, reactive oxygen species

Recently, atmospheric pressure non-equilibrium plasmas have applied to various medical techniques. However, the detailed mechanisms are not almost understood well, since the biological responses due to plasma irradiation occur via complicated reaction processes. The authors have investigated the differences in initial interaction between reactive oxygen species and membrane lipids on the type, irradiation direction and irradiation position using molecular dynamics. In the present work, the reaction processes of discharge active species and phospholipid molecules in agglutination system with water solvent are examined.
