[14p-P9-25] Detection of Peroxynitrite Formed in Water Treated with Coaxial Air DBD
Keywords:plasma-treated water, peroxynitrite, fluorescence spectroscopy
We have applied fluorescence spectroscopy for detecting peroxynitrite, which may be formed in air-plasma treated water. We have used NiSPY as a fluorescent reagent which emit strong fluorescence at 515 nm when it reacts with peroxynitrite. We have mixed NiSPY to de-ionized water treated with air plasma for up to 60 min, and measured its fluorescence spectra with excitation wavelength of 490 nm. The measured spectrum have a broad peak centered at 515 nm, which corresponds to fluorescence from peroxynitrite-reacted NiSPY. We will reports details on our experimental results including absolute concentration of NiSPY in plasma-treated water.
