[15a-211-10] Development of Nondestructive Inspection by using Terahertz Wave: Expansion of Measurement Terahertz Frequency Range and Measuring Objects

Terahertz spectroscopy of metal corrosion products on Zn - Al steel sheets have been conducted in the range of 1 to 6 THz, which is the terahertz wave generation region of GaP , but for further establishing of the terahertz wave absorption database,we conducted measurements in the higher frequency range from 8.4 to 11.0 THz, which is the generation region of GaSe.An terahertz absorption peak was newly obtained at 8.8 THz for aluminum hydroxide which has an absorption peak at 1.9 THz in the lower frequency range. In addition, we investigated the spectrum obtained by ATR-FTIR measurements.
